So firstly, I should apologize to my devbuddies and watchers for my disappearing act. I entertain mixed feelings about DA's function in my life/writing, but I respect, admire and generally just lurve all of you. I didn't miss the site itself, but I did miss all my favourite writers and artists. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Epic fail on my part.

In any case, I took a little time-out and now I'm back to play, although I think that I will probably approach the community from a somewhat different perspective, because my goals here have changed. I intend to re-establish a presence here, to post comments and feedback to all my favourite people and to add some new content, mainly in the form of writing exercises and/or fanfic. In addition, going forward, my page will probably feature less full-length original fic/poetry. I've recently decided to restrict my postings of marketable original content to the site because I am interested in selling first publication rights for certain pieces and having an online presence for the work may interfere with that. Having said that, for those who are interested, I will post links to work that I publish if it's available online. You know how it is - we live in a litigious world and I'm trying to keep my butt covered by paying due tribute to the good people who keep the presses running.

Anyway, thanks a million for your patience and for keeping your eyes peeled for me...
